Representative James moved and asked unanimous consent that the                                     
following committee substitute be adopted in lieu of the original

 Insert "FURTHER RESOLVED that the Alaska State                                                   
Legislature supports the $350,000 Fiscal Year 2002 budget request by                                
the Alaska Department of Public Safety for avalanche public                                         
education and training, search and rescue equipment, and a pilot                                    
avalanche information network study; and be it"
